30 Day Drawing Challenge Day 9: Your favourite cartoon character. I spent a lot of time as a child reading Tintin and Asterix, and can credit them for sowing the seeds of my adult love of comics. Professor Calculus was always my favourite, but I remember feeling a certain affinity for Captain Haddock. There is, in fact, a drawing in one of my preteen sketchbooks of “the many moods of Captain Haddock,” all of which are variations on angry. Quite cute. Gender-ambiguous swing dancing fuckery for you all today! Happy pride weekend!
